Who is Ericardo?

OLOGBO ERIC UWOMANO, popularly known by his pseudonym “ERICARDO” is a brilliant standup comedian who believes in the complete expression of art in every form.

He is an indigene of Delta State. He started his professional standup comedy career in 2017 at the prestigious Federal University Of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. He furthermore embarked on a mentorship program under reknown entertainment moguls which gave him a technical know- how of the industry and positioned him in a prime figure.
In 2021, Ericardo emerged as the winner of the MADE IN DELTA TALENT SEARCH which was organized by the Delta State Government under the office of Talent Development, which led to him being honoured as an AMBASSADOR TO THE DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT by the Executive Governor Of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

Due to his unique style of comedy Ericardo has performed insome of the biggest comedy concerts in Africa including, but not limited to:
BOVI: NAUGHTY BY NATURE, CHRONICLES OF USHBEBE, AKPORORO LIVE ON STAGE, GLO LAFFTA FEST, etc.
He has also shared magnificent stages with Africa’s biggest comedy exports including; Alibaba, Basketmouth, Bovi, AY, I Go Save, Kennyblaq, Josh2Funny, Kelvinsapp, Destalker, Akpororo, Mr Paul amongst many others..

He has also produced his own comedy shows, many which have gone on to sell out. Some of these events include:
ERICARDO UNCHAINED(2019, 2020), ERICARDO: BACK WITH A BANG (2022), ERICARDO: IN MY FEELINGS (2023), amongst others.

Due to his contribution and development to the entertainment industry in Nigeria, Ericardo has been recognized with the following awards and honors:
